What makes you different from other agencies? Why should we choose you?

Because it is just me and only me, so you always know who will be coming to help you. And from this comes a sense of trust and confidence, and you will be able relax and rely on me. I take great pride in the work I do and your satisfaction is very important to me. With other agencies there will usually be a variety of helpers.

 

What rates do you charge?

My rates vary depending on the nature of the work and when you need me so please do contact me to discuss your situation.

 

Which areas do you cover?

I work in Stroud and the surrounding villages, including Nailsworth, Painswick and Minchinhampton.

 

Can you come regularly?

Yes, of course. I can come daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or every few months at a time that is convenient for you.

 

Do you work at weekends?

Yes, I will come and help you, when you need the help.

 

We just need some help for a few weeks, can you do this?

Yes of course. There are many situations eg, illness, surgery, absence of family members, where another pair of hands can make all the difference and take the strain out of difficult times. Just contact me to see how I can help you.

 

How is it that you can offer so many services?

A long career in the caring sector, very practical parents who passed on their skills and life’s rich tapestry have given me the skills that I offer you. I also have a very practical nature and genuinely enjoy helping people out.

 

Do you have references available?

Yes, please see my testimonials and do ask me to show you written copies. I can also arrange for you to speak on the phone to one of my clients should you wish to, for your extra reassurance.

 

Are you police checked?

Yes. I hold a current enhanced police check certificate (called DBS/CRB) and regularly do Safeguarding training. I am aware that I am coming into your home, perhaps working with vulnerable people and will treat your home and family with utmost care and respect.

 

What if I need to cancel after I have booked you?

If I am booked to see you and you need to cancel for any reason I require 7 days notice. If you cancel with less than 7 days notice, I charge 50% of what I would be paid for the time I was booked for. If I have less than 24 hours notice I charge the full price for the time I was booked for.
